CIUDADANOS Y RESIDENTES DEL CONDADO DE MIAMI DADE EXIGEN CESE DE LAS DEPORTACIONES QUE ESTAN DESTRUYENDO SUS FAMILIAS

Esta reunión de Concejo Municipal con Miembros del Congreso, Oficiales del Estado, Alcaldes, Comisionados y Concejal incluirá la emisión de una petición dirigida al Presidente Obama.

Cada año aproximadamente 400 mil personas son deportadas de los Estados Unidos. Este Domingo, 22 de Mayo de 2011, autoridades estatales, federales y locales se unirán a la comunidad y participaran en un “Town Hall Meeting” para discutir las repercusiones que estas deportaciones están teniendo en el seno de cientos de miles de familias de residentes y ciudadanos de Miami, Fl.

El evento tendrá lugar en la sede de la Iglesia Misión Paz a las Naciones ubicada en el 4005 N.W. 79th Avenue en el Doral, donde un grupo de ciudadanos y residentes de los Condados de Broward y Miami Dade compartirán sus historias y hablaran de las terribles consecuencias que muchas de estas deportaciones han traído para sus familias aquí en los Estados Unidos.

Ciudadanos Americanos Nacionalizados, inmigrantes legales, estudiantes aspirantes a la legalización a través del DREAM ACT, así como inmigrantes indocumentados y sus familias participaran en este importante evento que será parte de una gira nacional para llamar la atención sobre el tema de deportaciones y hacer un llamado a la administración del Presidente Obama.

Durante el evento se firmaran peticiones dirigidas al Presidente Obama en materia migratoria.

*    Helene Villalonga, a quien le fue otorgado asilo político en USA y cuyo  hijo fue injustamente deportado, apresado, castigado, y torturado por Oficiales de Inmigración y quien hoy en día, a consecuencia del activismo político de su madre que le justifico su asilo político en USA, sufre ataques y persecución en su país de origen, Venezuela.-

*    (NOMBRE) Estudiante quien podría optar a la legalización de su status de ser aprobado el DREAM ACT:

Miami Dade Citizens and Residents Plead for

Relief From Deportations That is Breaking Up

Their Families

Town Hall Meeting with Members of Congress, State Officials, City Mayors, Commissioners, Councilman will Include Petition of President Obama

Every year, approximately 400,000 people are deported from the United States.  On Sunday, May 22, 2011, state, federal and local elected officials will participate in a town hall-style event at the Mision Paz a las Naciones Church (4005 N.W. 79th Avenue in Doral) were Miami Dade and Broward County citizens and residents will tell their individual stories about the toll these deportations are taking on families in our State.  U.S. Citizens, legal immigrants, students who would be eligible for legal status through the DREAM ACT, undocumented immigrants, and their families will participate in the event, which is part of a national tour to shine a spotlight on deportations under the Obama Administration.  As part of the event, petitions to President Obama will be signed.
